A Claude account that can add a custom connector. Free, Pro and Max accounts can (Free allows one custom connector); on a Team or Enterprise plan, an Owner adds it for you.
To check, open claude.ai → Customize → Connectors and look for “Add custom connector”. You’ll paste one link there, and the portal walks you through it.
Do I need to be technical?
No. You copy one link from the member portal and paste it into Claude’s Connectors settings. It takes about two minutes, and the portal walks you through every click.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. Add the connector once at claude.ai in a browser (Safari or Chrome works on a phone). Backslate then works in the Claude app on iPhone and Android, with nothing more to set up.
How much does it cost?

Is this a picks service?

Where do the odds and projections come from?
Odds are collected every 15 minutes from 11 sportsbooks for game lines (8 for player props). Six are US‑licensed (DraftKings, FanDuel, BetMGM, Caesars, BetRivers and Fanatics), and those are the only books shown on this site and in the portal; the others are tracked for market context.
Player projections in the prop tools come from a third-party sports-data provider and are shown for comparison only. In Backslate’s own testing, the market line was the more accurate predictor.
How fresh is the data?
Odds refresh every 15 minutes, injuries refresh hourly near kickoff, and box scores and final scores update automatically. Every price Claude quotes comes with the time it was captured, so you always know how old a number is.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel from your Whop account and you won’t be billed again. Your connector keeps working until the end of the period you’ve paid for.
